Decentral Art Pavilion presents: weekend #1 Generative Art curated by Art Blocks
For the first weekend running from April 29th to May 1st, Art Blocks in collaboration with Decentral Art Pavilion will present the work of 20 generative artists.
Art Blocks is the premier generative art platform stored on the ETH blockchain. The company seeks to bring the future of art into the world we live in today by connecting collectors, fine art, cryptocurrency, and creative coding to manifest an extraordinary experience. Each work of art on Art Blocks could not exist without the person who mints it. It is this symbiotic relationship between the artist and the collector which forms the foundation of their amazing community.
In the words of Erick Calderon, Art Blocks CEO and founder: “At Art Blocks we celebrate the intersection of art and technology, with the mission of elevating generative art in the art world. This is why we are excited to collaborate with Decentral Art Pavilion during Venice Biennale. The exhibition exemplifies the depth and breadth of artistic expression made possible through creative coding and showcases a range of approaches to generative art from some incredible artists.”
The exhibition presented here (April 29 – May 1) will uniquely showcase European artists from Art Blocks and demonstrate a wide variety of approaches to generative art. These projects exemplify the depth and breadth of artistic expression made possible through creative coding. Exhibiting artists include: Alexis André, Nadieh Bremer, Darien Brito, Anna Carreras, Michael Connolly, Stefano Contiero, Simon De Mai, Matt DesLauriers, Julien Gachadoat, Kjetil Golid, Han x Nicolas Daniel, Marcin Ignac, LIA, Anna Lucia, Piter Pasma, Thomas Lin Pedersen, Samsy, Marcelo Soria-Rodríguez, Alida Sun, and Shvembldr.
